Mercedes Austin Recently Featured in "Meet a Scientologist"

Scientology Network's "Meet a Scientologist" the weekly show spotlighting the everyday lives of Scientologists from around the world and all walks of existence, declares an incident featuring ceramic tile mosaic artist Mercedes Austin.

The show "Meet A Scientologist" airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. Eastern Time on Scientology Network.

As a struggling artist, Mercedes Austin dreamed of making a living. Going upon a tile studio, an art form that would change the course of her entire life was found by her. With the profits from selling her jazz CD collection, Mercedes became an artistic and aesthetic force and began her own business creating porcelain tile mosaics.

ABOUT MERCEDES AUSTIN

Mercedes Austin's artistic fire was sparked at a young age. Following in her artist parents' footsteps, Mercedes found herself needing to put her artistic dreams while she worked as a waiter to make due. As an release, the tile bug chose a non-paying job creating ceramic tile and, before long, bit her. After studying the craft from Italy, she began Mercury Mosaics in the attic of her home. The company took off, and Mercedes was overseeing two dozen workers, manning the handmade factory tile businesses in the world. Her clientele includes some of the biggest corporations, from Amazon and Google to Disney and Starbucks. But no matter how the company expands, she stays true to her ancient ambition--to allow artists to show their creativity and make a living, all while bringing magnificent mosaics into people's lives. Her motto: "We wish to be the backdrop of your life."
